The Newsroom at Hogwarts

Chapter 6

The Newsroom at Hogwarts, that most of us are familiar with, is where news and notices are put up by the respected Headmistress, Professors and Professor Assistants.

Besides the notice for the "Design A Kneazle Contest" and the article on whether or not squibs have magic, the notices for Professor and Professor Assistant Applications were merged, restructured and spruced up by Headmistress Oshiro, and renamed to "What Does it Take to Be an HiH Professor?" , also adding answers to FAQs and testimonials. We also saw an amazing article this month, about none other than the worldwide-famous Muggle singer, Taylor Swift.

Taylor Alison Swift, born on December 13, 1989, is an internationally popular American pop and country music singer, lovingly known to her fans as Tay-Tay, who is responsible for giving us many fabulous and relatable hits throughout her career, such as, "Taylor Swift" , "1989" , "Reputation" , "Speak Now" , "Red" , "Lover" , "Folklore" , "Midnights" , "Evermore" and many more. I am sure many of us love to groove to her songs and are guilty of being "Swifties" .

The article described how our beloved superstar, Tay-Tay, would fare during the Sorting Ceremony, if she walked through the gates of Hogwarts, being "The Ultimate Hogwarts Hatstall" .

The article was viewed by a reasonably large number of people and was brought to the inhabitants of Hogwarts by none other than the very founder and co-creator of Hogwarts in it's current form, Keith D. Cardin, who made it possible for all of us to attend Hogwarts amidst the chaos of life in the modern world. The article was exquisitely brewed just like the magic of Hogwarts, and a captivating read.

"CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT" , but beyond the Newsroom, in the Muggle world out there, Tay-Tay stole the show this month, with a documentation of her live Eras Tour concert, the movie  named "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" , which is PG-13 rated and has a running time of  2 hours and 49 minutes, and was directed by Sam Wrench, and released on 13 October, 2023. Fans from all over the world gathered to watch the movie, and many students of Hogwarts were excited, feigning various incurable maladies to get to home rather than St. Mungo's, so that they can escape Hogwarts on a valid excuse just to watch the movie, and return on time for completing the rest of their term at Hogwarts. This was an exhilarating month for all the Swifties.

As sung by Taylor Swift,

'Girl, there ain’t no I in "team" (Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)

But you know there is a “me” ' .

Which means, that while there is no place for arrogance in a team, self-respect and self-love are certainly needed to be able to make others feel loved and respected. On that note, the Hogwarts Monthly Magazine team takes you to the next topic to help track your self-progress at Hogwarts.
