Before Hogwarts:
When Evalyn was born, her family was still grieving from her father dying weeks before. She grew up in a small coastal town in the southeast of England. It was the kind of town where everybody knew everybody, and Evalyn grew sick of it. She wanted to get out, to travel the world, to never settle down. Sometimes she would steal her old neighbor's fishing vessel, and she would disappear on the water for days at a time. She loved everything about the sea.

Hogwarts Life:
Evalyn's letter came right on schedule, and her mother was thrilled. She was a hatstall - ten and a half minutes. The Sorting Hat couldn't decide between Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor, because Evalyn had a bright mind, was willing to jump off of a cliff for the thrill, and would manipulate anyone to get what she wanted. She was not a particularly kind or hard-working person; if something didn't happen immediately, she got bored and tried a short-cut. Neither was she particularly loyal to her friends or family. She passed all exams with flying colors, and told everyone she wanted to be an Unspeakable.

After Hogwarts:
However, as soon as she left Hogwarts, she disappeared. Nobody heard heads or tails of her for four years, until she was found on an island in the Caribbean, second-in-command to a widely-feared pirate captain. She climbed the ranks easily and when the captain died, she took his place. She is captain of the ship Nox Sidus (Night Star), and has been leading her crew and sailing the oceans for three years.
