Backstory

I'd like to say that my childhood was crazy and dramatic like a hero's, but it was actually pretty average. I was raised by two half-bloods that pretend they're pure-bloods in front of other pures. It's annoying, because a lot of people at Hogwarts are convinced I'm a prissy pure-blood, but I'm really not. My dad's side of the family never believed in magic, or as they'd call it, "hoo-ha", until my dad's mother met my grandpa. My grandpa was a pureblood, but never told my muggleborn grandma because he figured she'd think he's crazy. So, when they created my father, my grandma discovered his magic. And so my grandpa spoke up and they sent my father to Hogwarts, where he met my mother and fell in love! Since it became a new family tradition, it's a goal to attend Hogwarts, and it was mine, too. The only talents I've got are memorizing spells and performing them, which I picked up from my dad, but I'm also a pretty good chaser when it comes to Quidditch. I can be sort of oblivious and I have no street smarts, just book smarts. I'm 5'11", which is extremely tall for my age, but at least I don't need a broomstick to reach the top of a shelf!
