Backstory

Being the first wizard kid in a line of squib family members, was nothing short of a hassle. My family, a batch of purebloods (at least once), chose partners for their kids, in an attempt to be breed strong magical children. If there's any proof that was a bunch of bull, it'd be the fact we haven't seen a wizard or witch in my family since my grandma Edna. Boy was she thrilled when she found at least one of us still had magical blood. Mama and Dad were both promising, but ultimately neither got a letter to Hogwarts. My mam took it worse then dad, I think he's pretty happy without magic. Born with two brothers and a sister, I was pretty sure at least one of us would get the magic-stuff. Gran made sure we were all well-versed in magical knowledge. I just didn't think it'd be me. They realised when I set my sisters hair on fire, so she set mine on in return. Mam was too busy crying with joy to punish us, so frankly, I think that was an evening well-spent.
