Background: Arthur attended Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a member of Slytherin house. He very quickly established himself as a good all-rounder: sharp in theory, disciplined in practice, and consistently excelling beyond his peers. His natural charm won him popularity, although a few of the more perceptive teachers noted an unsettling edge, an intensity beyond his eyes and consistent boundary pushing.
Despite being top of his class in Defence Against the Dark Arts and Charms, he showed unusual interest in curses and counter-curses. Rumours circulated among peers of late-night excursions to the Forbidden Forest and secret experiments with darker branches of magic. He was once caught practising the Cruciatus Curse on a fairy, earning him strong disciplinary action and lasting suspicion from certain staff. However, due to his generally excellent performance and demeanour, he managed to avoid outright expulsion.
Arthur left Hogwarts with a strong reputation for brilliance, a student others followed out of instinct, even when they sensed something unusually intense and potentially dangerous beneath his composure.
Following his time at Hogwarts, Arthur was recruited into the department of Magical Law Enforcement, where his charm and tactical mind made him into a very effective investigator. However, after only a few months, he was terminated for misconduct after deploying a self-invented hex on a rival colleague. The spell, designed to force the victim into uncontrollably blurting out their most insulting and grotesque private thoughts, humiliated the target during a high-level meeting and completely destroyed their credibility. Though Arthur denied malicious intent, the ministry viewed the act as calculated psychological harassment.
After dismissal, he attracted the attention of darker forces within the wizarding world and began taking contract work. His mix of charisma, intense discipline and ruthless precision making him uniquely suited to life as a hired killer.
