Backstory

Graduating from Hogwarts with N.E.W.T.s in Charms and Study of Ancient Runes, I pursued higher education with the masters of Mahoutokoro School of Magic, Japan. I was fascinated with a different system of glyphs and ideographs and how they weaved magic in similar but interestingly different ways. I occupied an adjunct position while carrying out my research there, and successfully published several papers of note, including the Monograph "Eastern Esotera: Sinitic Symbols in Asian Magic", published in esteemed journal The Symbologia. After 5 years at Mahoutokoro, I pursued a career as a Curse Breaker, specialising on East Asian symbol-based charms often found adorning ancient ruins in the region.
