Backstory

Nobody ever said it would be easy to be a Ravenclaw. I come from a pureblood family of Slytherins, a black sheep in the family, so when I was sorted into Ravenclaw it surprised everyone, including myself. Despite being a Ravenclaw I struggle in some of my classes, how ever I do brilliantly well in the classes I'm emotionally invested in. To be honest I am more interested in creating spells and potions than learning about old boring ones. I want to understand how and why everything works through experimentation rather than theory. I like to tinker around with things instead of going by the book, and sometimes this drives my more traditional professors nuts...
