Antipodean Opaleye

The Antipodean Opaleye is a 40 ft beast native to New Zealand, also known to migrate to Australia. It resides in valleys. It is an extinct beast. It has pearly scales that line its body, and glittering multi-coloured eyes that have no pupils. This beast killed sheep as well as kangaroos.


Ashwinder

M.O.M Classification: XXX

The Ashwinder is thin and pale-grey with glowing red eyes found worldwide. They rise from the embers of the dying fire and slither off into a dark corner to lay their eggs, leaving an ashy trail behind. Ashwinders only live for an hour and will collapse to dust when they have laid their eggs. Ashwinder eggs are red and give off intense heat. If they can be frozen with a Freezing Charm, they can be used in a Love Potion or eaten whole as a cure for ague.


Billywig

M.O.M Classification: XXX

The Billywig is a very fast insect native to Australia. It is around half an inch long with the colouring of a vivid sapphire blue. The Billywig's wings are attached to the top of its head, and the wings rotate extremely fast, spinning the Billywig so that it can fly. The Billywig also has a long, thin stinger at the bottom of its body. Anyone stung by a Billywig will suffer giddiness, followed by levitation, and this is what gives the Billywig its rating of XXX.


Bundimun

M.O.M Classification: XXX

The Bundimun was a magical creature found worldwide. It a greenish, many-eyed pest that fed on dirt and could destroy a whole house.
