Finally, I'm Going To Hogwarts!!

Hello Diary,
Today was an outstanding day! Today was the day I went to Hogwarts! I've been waiting to go to Hogwarts for my WHOLE life,and today was the day it happened!
Today started out like a normal day-except I knew I was going to hogwarts- I woke up, jumped out of bed, and started getting ready! I wore a flowing, flowery white dress with my special unicorn necklace. My mother and father gave me the necklace on my 5th birthday, the necklace has been in the family for 50 years! It is very special to all of us. After I put on my clothes, I had to pack my trunk. I had a lot of space in my trunk, so I nearly packed my Whole room into there! I started with clothes, then my school robes/objects and ended with a picture of my parents- If I was staying away from home, for the first time! I wasn't leaving without a picture of my parents. I dragged the trunk out my room, and let my parents pack it into the car. Then, I wandered downstairs and sat bored in the living room. By then it was only 9 am, meaning I had to wait two hours for the Hogwarts Express! In the mean time, I ate my breakfast, read a few pages of my school books and played with my pets!( Elthia and Socks.)Doing all of this took my mind off Hogwarts, and in no time It was time to leave!
We packed all of the trunks into the car, and drove to the train station! I would have flown there, but Muggle's could have seen. We parked next to another wizarding family, I knew because I saw the owls and trunks! My parents carefully lifted the trunks out of the boot and onto the trolley's. We used the trolley's to move along our heavy belongings quickly, if we didn't it probably would have taken hours to get to the Hogwarts Express. I quickly pushed my trolley into Kings Cross Station and in-between platform 10 and 9. My brother's ran through first because they had done it many times! I went next, carefully walking through the barrier making sure no Muggle's seen! It was magical walking through the barrier! "We might learn how to do this at Hogwarts!" I thought. After walking through the barrier I quickly moved out the way, incase any other witches or Wizards wanted to come through. I checked my pocket for my wand, hoping it didn't fall out while I entered the barrier! As I looked up from my pocket, I was amazed with how beautiful platform 9 and 3/4 was. It was an exact copy of all the other platforms in the train station, except it was called platform 9 and 3/4...and it was only for magical beings!
My parents rushed through the barrier quickly, reminding me the train left in exactly 5 minutes. My brother's had already entered the train- probably going to meet up with their friends. Mother and father gave me a giant hug, and said they loved me with all their heart! Tears came to my eyes, but I had to get onto the train. I waved goodbye and walked up to the Hogwarts Express. The ticket checker, reminded me I had to give in my trunk at the end of train. I only had 1 minute until the train left, and asked if he could take my trunk instead! The ticket checker must have seen how desperate I was and he took my trunk, I gave in my ticket and slowly stumbled inside. The train was separated into different parts, each house had a compartment aswell as each year. All first years (like me) had a chance to mingle because we weren't housed yet! Me being me, I sat in an empty compartment, hoping maybe one person might wander in. I'm quite of a loner actually, but having one friend might have been ok!
I was sat in the compartment for at least 30 minutes, before someone came in. While I waited I imagined what Hogwarts would be like, If fairies wandered the halls or if people flew through the school! I was in my own imaginary world, because I didn't notice 3 people walk in. There was 1 girl and 2 boys. The girl had curly brown hair and hazel eyes, the first boy had short blonde hair and was already in his robes! The other boy had wild black hair with blue eyes. I was staring at the window when I finally saw the other students. They smiled kindly, even though I had faced my wand at them. I quickly put it away, realising I knew no spells. I apologized instantly and introduced myself, " Oh sorry about that, you scared me. I'm Jasmine Lovegood and you are?"
" Haley Coldberry, Muggle-born, nice to meet you" answered the girl
" I'm Caspian Porter, Pure blood!" Said the boy with blonde hair
" Uhh hi, I'm Ryland Slade. Pure blood" Whispered the other boy. I could tell Ryland was shy, so I tried my best to help him feel safe, but I mainly talked to Haley and Caspian. After a long, long talk about our personalities and families, we had to change into our robes. If we didn't, we would miss the sorting and get EXPELLED!
It's getting late and I want to get sorted into my house, as well as talk to my new friends! Hope to see you soon!
