And you just can't seem to understand any lessons.Well In this Diary you read about my experience as a first year Ravenclaw, starting from the day I received my letter, to my final day as a first year Hogwarts student!

Someone Goes Missing!

Dear Diary,
Surprisingly, today wasn't AS bad as usual. If you don't count someone going missing. Ever since I've been at Hogwarts, I've been given Detention, I was put in the Hospital Wing TWICE and discovered secrets about my necklace! So I was actually happy today wasn't the usual Hogwarts day-for me. When I say usual, I mean not injuring MYSELF, because today was actually quite unusual.
The morning was very peaceful, I was first out of bed. Everyone else had stayed up late studying, but I had finished all my studying in free time. Since I was the first one up, I changed into my robes and read more of 'The Tales Of Beedle The Bard.' I had brought the book from home, and hadn't had a chance to read it because of all the things going on. I spent about an hour reading the book before everyone else awoke. I hadn't had much peace and quiet since arriving at Hogwarts, so I appreciated the time very much. Ryland met me in the Common Room after he had put on his robes, he saw I was reading The Tales Of Beedle The Bard and accidentally said a spoiler. He miscalculated where I was up to, and told me something that happened later on in the book. I understood it was a mistake, and I forgave him. We then talked about Hogwarts, and our lessons and all the things we had been enjoying! Ryland had been doing amazing in potions and transfiguration! It did make me a bit jealous, since I hadn't had many lessons yet, and he was already top of the class! After catching up on everything, we decided to meet up with Enochia. Ryland hadn't talked to her much, and I thought it was very important for him to get to know her. Before we left, we gathered everything we'd need for lessons throughout the day- We would do anything to avoid answering a riddle, so hard, it could melt your brain. Maybe I'm over exaggerating, but some of the riddles are almost impossible to answer! Anyway, we left the Common Room and made our way to the School Grounds. I don't understand how Ryland couldn't spot the Cottage. It was the only fun,happy building outside! Sometimes, I worry he might need glasses, only because he can't ever see the most obvious things. For example, the other day I asked him if I could borrow a book. He said he had left all his books up in the Common Room, when there was blatantly one lying next to his backpack. I picked it up, and waved it in his face, "Can you see it yet!" I said, getting slower as I spoke, as if talking to a baby. He laughed and apologised, giving me the book. I know this was just a misunderstanding, and he probably forgot about the book, but his backpack was RIGHT infront of his face! However, when we walked closer to Enochia's House, Ryland did point out the Cottage. At least he can still see!? We then made our way to Enochia's door, and knocked politely, "One second!" We heard Enochia shout-from inside the cottage. "I just need too...Finally, found the keys!" We then heard her stumble towards the door and frantically unlock it.
"Jasmine, Ryland, How good to see you! I was just, umm, cleaning the walls! Yup,that's what I was doing. Nothing else...!" It was very clear Enochia was lying, but we smiled and replied simultaneously with. "That's great, can we come in?" Enochia seemed confused when we asked- I don't know why, but she did. I almost thought she wasn't going to let us in, but when I did my irresistible puppy dog eyes, her mind changed. Quickly, we scrambled inside- mainly because it had started raining-but also because we had just seen a few Slytherin's walk by, and desperately wanted to get away from them. I know all Slytherin's aren't bad-One of my dad's friends is a Slytherin, and is the kindest person you'll meet- but the Slytherin's at Hogwarts, are EVIL. Well most of them, at least...
As we entered the Cottage, Enochia barged past us and out the back door. We didn't want to follow her, so we stayed back and waited. I decided to give Ryland a tour, hoping Enochia would join when she came back. But she didn't. After a while, we couldn't wait anymore, unless we wouldn't to be expelled! Well we wouldn't be expelled, we'd probably just get detention. But I know what that's like. So eventually we had to go, I desperately wanted to get Enochia and Ryland to be friends. Obviously, Enochia loves everyone, but I get along with her more than anyone else, and I wanted one of my closest friends to be like that too. Sadly, my plan had failed, since Enochia had left the cottage and not come back. This did worry me slightly,and I couldn't eat breakfast! But why would Enochia just leave like that? I would have done more of an investigation, but we were the last ones left in the Great Hall, and ended staying there longer then we planned. So when we finally left,we had to run faster then we ever had before, to get to our first lesson. As always, the lessons were boring. Except for Charms and Transfiguration, I've always loved Charms, and Transfiguration has started to grow on me. When all the lessons had ended, I went to the great Hall- To have the normal Hogwarts Feast- and ACTUALLY ate something. Since Enochia had gone missing, I hadn't ate a thing, So I ended up eating 3 WHOLE plates of stake! 7 Eggs! And 10 sausages. I did eat more than that, but the rest of what I ate, I threw up about an hour later. Yeah, never over eat, or well...the food will just come back up later!
As you can see, today wasn't as strange as it usually is. So I suppose you could say it was a usual, normal day. But Enochia did go missing! And sadly, I threw up my food. So today wasn't the best, but it was still good! I hope we can find Enochia soon!
