Chapter 19 - The Night Yule Ball

Chapter 19
Morning arrived. They were all getting dressed so they could get ready to go to Hogsmeade. When they arrived, Linda and Hermione were giving them a tour so they know what Hogsmeade is and the places there.
"You guys are really good at lecturing, to be honest." Harry said, smiling at them impressively.
"We know sweetheart, because we are amazing people." Linda said, smugly, grinning back at them.
"Heh? What about us?" Ron asked.
"You guys are too, but chatty though." Hermione said, laughing.
They continued the tour silently. When they finished the tour for them, they stopped at a bar to get some butterbeer.
"So, how's school now?" Linda asked, concerned.
"It's getting better. Tanya called me and she said it's getting better and Susanna didn't come back again."
Mihaela answered. "This is good stuff."
"Thank God because if I EVER see her again, she will regret me meeting her at Dark Spells." Linda said, bitterly.
"Don't worry sweetums, I know she put you in a lot of pressure, just calm down." Harry said, caressing her shoulders.
"What pressures?" Edvinas said.
Harry and Hermione began to explain to them what has been happening to her lately. They told them also about the kidnaps she had and when they took their bond away from them.
"She's so evil!" Holly said.
"I know." Linda said.
"Come on, let's get back to the school castle." Harry beckoned. They all finished their butterbeer and they went back to the school to prepare for the Night Yule Ball.
In the evening, when they were getting prepared for the Ball, Linda was straightening her gown and her tiara too. When she finished, she stepped into the boys' dormitories and asked:
"How do I look?"
They stared at her in amazement. She was wearing a white gown, white gloves made out of cloth and a sparkling tiara on her silky hair. She didn't look like Linda because she didn't carry her bushy hair this time.
"Oh my word love, you look absolutely-" Harry gasped.
"Fabulous? Gorgeous?" Linda asked, her arms out.
"All of the above of course." Harry answered, taking her hand and making her spin around. She fell on his arms and hugged him passionately, resting her lips on his shoulder. When she looked up, she kissed him passionately.
When they were all set, they all went to The Great Hall with their partners.
The Great Hall changed completely, it didn't look like The Great Hall, it looked like a Ball, where couples dance. Linda took Harry's hand and dragged him to the dance floor. They both danced and danced. They danced the way they danced in the boys' dormitories. After an hour, Harry fell on the bench with the others. Unexpectedly, Linda fell on Harry's chest.
"I'm sorry. I'm exhausted already."
"It's fine. Don't worry."
Linda glanced at Edvinas and smiled. He smiled back.
"I can see you chose Holly as your date." Linda said, raising her eyebrows
"What? It's just a ball, she's only my friend." Edvinas answered, surprised.
"The same girl you're taking out, is the same girl you dated." she mumbled, smiling at the floor.
"So? Is that a problem?" he asked, half-smiling.
"No, there isn't a problem." she answered, smugly. "None at all."
She turned to Harry, still smiling.
"What? Why are you smiling?" he asked, curiously looking at her
She didn't reply. She leaned forward and caught his lips. They both shared a long, lingering kiss; Harry was wrapping a hand on her waist to pull her closer while she wrapped hers on his neck. They stopped when they heard a BANG! from the distance. They all ran out and saw professors having their wands out, pointing at a tall teenage-like girl, who was cackling evilly.
