I was going to go home for the holidays, but I've decided to stay for Thanksgiving so Harry doesn't get too lonely...Ron has already left, and here I am, sitting the library having already finished my homework.

Professor Snape decided to give us two long essays to write over the small break, but I've already got them finished so I don't have to worry about it. It was simple really, I just had to check out three or four books, do a few days of reading, and then I had all the answers to write down.

I ran into Professor Dumbledore earlier today, and he was leaving for Thanksgiving. The castle seems kind of lonely, but there still are quite a few students here.
