Chapter 1
It was a beautiful day in Florida. Riley was now in high school, and in 10th grade. The cool thing was that her boyfriend, Max, was a student there too. Ever since they first met when Riley was stuck with an issue, being unable to speak until it was discovered she had selective mutism like her best friend Andrea. Since then, Riley was very excited for her new start and growing with her bond with Max. However, Riley still has a problem. She doesn't want to tell Max how she feels, because she's worried he'll be mad. Riley needs to S.P.E.A.K. and tell Max the truth, before it's too late.
