Basic Rules

Chapter 5
In Quidditch, rules are permitted to make the gameplay more safe, which doesn't really change anything, and fair. Some of these rules include:

1. When a Chaser or Keeper scores, they must throw the Quaffle. No holding is permitted.
2. It is not eligible for Beaters to use their bat to hit other players with them, as they are only allowed to hit Bludgers.
3. Nobody but the Keeper is allowed in the goal section of the pitch.
4. Nobody but the Seeker is allowed to catch the Golden Snitch, for it will not count.
5. Holding onto someone else's broomstick is an automatic foul and will not be passed as legal.
6. Purposely running into someone with your broomstick will be an automatic foul.

All rules broken will result in a free throw between on of the team's Chasers and the opposite team's Keeper.
