In Quidditch, there are many things that apply to the gameplay, including what really causes a team to win: Points.
For points, when the Quaffle is thrown through a hoop, ten points is awarded to the team who had done the action. Once the Seeker catches the Golden Snitch, their team is awarded one hundred-fifty points and the game ends. One thing most fail to realize is that just because one has caught the Snitch doesn't mean their team will win the game.
The game of Quidditch usually ends when the Golden Snitch is caught by the Seeker or if both captains agree to end the game, which rarely happens in most cases of a Quidditch game
