Deserving The Slytherin Title
Chapter 4
The very first thing I am going to say in this chapter, and probably the most important is this:
If you believe you are deserving, then you damn well are.
Do not ever, ever let someone make you feel as though you aren't deserving, or worthwhile.
That is the key to owning this title through and through.
You must remind yourself that you can be great, and that you deserve absolutely nothing but the best.
You must believe in yourself. You must never stop dreaming.
Confidence is a defining trait of a Slytherin. It is also a choice. Choose it.
Note: I am aware that there are man people who struggle with self-confidence, and insecurity. First and foremost, I would like to remind you how much you are worth. I'd also like to remind you that if you ever need anyone to talk to, you are welcome to message me. Thirdly, I hope my chapter on how to carry prde could possibly help you, it contains the things that help improve my confidence levels every single day.
I know how difficult that this can be. I understand that sometimes, the insecurity drips inside and we can't seem to shake the feeling that we will never quite be good enough.
Forget this feeling. When you think anything, anything at all that could be damaging to your self esteem, try to stop yourself. Look in the mirror, and train yourself to love what you see.
Yet, no matter how confident we can be, there will always be the cynics.
These are the people who put doubt into your mind, the people that make you waver.
Let me tell you something. These people are tests. These people are helping you. They are pushing you to be better, to be greater and to surpass them with ease.
You will thank these people later on in life.
I promise.
