International Statute of Secrecy
It is the most important law of the land.
In the beginning, the wizarding world signed the law, prepared the law and then after three years of preparing. In the beginning, many magical creatures ignored the law. The ministry wrote laws to regulate the creatures.
Each governing body was responsible for their own magical creatures.
Clause 73 of the International Statute of Secrecy
In 1709, there was a warlock's conventions that was held.
It discussed the purpose of the International Statute of Secrecy
The ISOS had two purposes:
To protect the magical world from Muggles.
To hide the magical world from the world in general.
A question to ponder: Is the ISOS still needed? This is important.
Pre International Statute of Secrecy
Starting 1010, the magical community created settlements away from the Muggle population. Muggles were persecuting them. During this time the witch hunts are still going on. Children were the primary target in trials. Magical children are not able to control their magic.
One example was a boy named Henry Jackerby. He had two magical parents. Their names were Kevin and Henrietta. Henry was non-magical. His parents did not believe that he was not magical. They had a strong magical heritage. Henry grew up in a household where magic was used all the time. He found it strange that the house looked different than other common houses.
In 1525, he told his friends some magical things that happened in the house. The authorities were notified. The family was sent to trial. The family was sentenced to having their arms chopped off. Poison was poured down their throats. They could not do magic. They could not speak anymore.
During the 1500’s chief Columbus Weatherby created a team that looked for a good place for a magical institution. They wanted great traveling places. That would avoid muggles. This team was known as the Survival for Ordinary Wizards.
The first team composed of five members. They each had a unique kind of magic.
The members of the first SFOW team were Balfour Blane, Dillsbury Cartwright, Evana Limburg, Xenophilius Murdock, and Xandra Murdock
Balfour Blane took over after Chief Weatherby as Chief Warlock in 1619.
Present International Statute of Secrecy
Currently, The magical world develops task forces that are necessary to be in charge of the construction and hiding of magical buildings. This task force is only open when the need arises.
When the magical world developed the wizard entertainment hall in Amsterdam, It was known as Clearbottom Joint, this building was housed thousands of magical people.
During this building process, the magical population ran into an oil problem with the building code. The oil seeped out of the ground onto the building. They asked Darren Anderson a Muggle architect to help fix the problem. With his help, they put up state of the art Titanium Siding. This worked for the magical population. They modified his memory. They paid him well for his services.
In the last 320 years, nothing has changed with this statue.
It is continually growing stronger.

The group meets the last Thursday of every month every night of the year.
They discuss possible reform of this law.
Some of the law must be rewritten to conform to the new standards.
Many believe that it may not be safe to mingle with the Muggles.
