Magical News on the HBO Harry Potter Series
You all may be wondering what is going on in the Wizarding World. Well, I am here to satisfy your curiosity. Last month the names of some of the actors of the new Harry Potter TV series made by HBO were released by the broadcaster, including an almost family selfie, picturing a redheaded boy that some of us already know, and some of his siblings. To be more precise, we are talking about the Weasley family, which is almost complete: George, Fred, Percy and Ginny must be added to Ron and Molly, who was already cast as well. But let’s take a closer look at the actors, starting from the oldest weasley in account.
Our favourite prefect will be played by Ruari Spooner whose career, after taking part in the pilot of a famous Channel 4 series, we are hoping is about to fly higher than ever. Meanwhile, Tristan and Gabriel Harland are getting ready for managing some mischiefs since they are going to play our favourite twins, Fred and George Weasley: we hope we will get to see more of them in the series since they are a sort of Marauders’ heirs - even though there were two of them instead of four. Last but not least, Ginny Weasley, a strong woman with a lot of temper, will be played by Gracie Cochrane: we know that in the first season, that will be based on the first Harry Potter book, there is not much Ginny to see but we have high expectation for the second season, where she becomes one of the fundamental characters.
As already mentioned, the actors that will play Ron Weasley and his mother were already announced but we are still waiting impatiently to discover who will be playing Bill and Arthur, the only two Weasley members we are missing so far. To know more about Charlie we guess we will need to wait a bit longer to discover if we will ever see him in the series or he will be totally ignored just like happened in the movies.
So far, we have a lot of news but still a lot of questions that we hope will be answered as soon as possible.
