I’m sitting front row, everyoe’s attire is so pretty. Liv’s wedding is so perfect! It will be a lasting memory forever. The music starts up, and everyone stands, I feel the tears coming up. The bridesmaids, and groomsmen come down the aisle, then the maid of honor, Siren. I was going to be the maid of honor, but Liv decided that if our parents and Nora weren’t able to be in the wedding, then no family would be in the wedding, I agreed that this was the way.

I love Siren, her and Liv have been friends for years, she’s a good person. The bride music comes on, and the flower girls make their way down the aisle. I recognize them, Kacey and Lila, Allen, Josh’s friend’s kids. They are adorable. Then, there she is, Liv. Her dress is absolutely beautiful. She has a corset bodice, it’s lacey white, and her long tule ivory colored skirt goes down to her ankles, she has on white tall heeled boots. She is gorgeous.

She is smiling widely, then she looks up and stops smiling, her face goes blank. That’s when I turn around and it hits me, Joshua is nowhere to be seen. Where is he? She makes it to the altar and asks the offiviate where Josh is. He shrugs and Liv looks at me. I see her eyes welling up. I’m about to go to her when I hear him.

“Wait!” Joshua yells. Liv wipes her eyes and smiles weakly, I turn to him and notice the woman standing behind him. “I can’t do this!” He yells.

“What are you talking about?” Liv starts, and I’m wondering the same thing. At this moment everyone is staring at him. “We can’t get married. I don’t love you.” He announces. Everyone lets out a small gasp.

I look over at Liv, her face is white. “I love someone else,” He continues, “I thought it was just a thing that’d go away at the wedding, but I love Mary.” Mary? Like his best friend? I’m suddenly realizing, I haven’t seen Mary all day. Oh god.

“What? I-” Liv tries to speak, but she is choked off by her tears. I get up and rush to her, me and Siren are hugging her.

“I’m leaving. I’m sorry, Liv.” Joshua says, then he and Mary rush away. I don’t know who it was, but someone shouts “Fuck you!” at Josh as he leaves. I look up to see who said it but I can’t tell.

“Hey, hey, hey, it’s going ot be okay. He’s crazy psycho, Liv.” I whisper to her, then Siren nods and says, “I love you Liv, this is shit, but it will be okay, me and all your friends are here, and your sister, we’re here for you.”

I nod and look up at Jordan. She gets up at my look and turns around to direct everyone to the main hall, where the stage and tables are. While she does that I hug Liv and Siren. I send Siren into the hall with the others.

“Liv, are you okay?” It’s a stupid question, of course she’s not. She looks up at me and in the weakest voice ever, she whispers, “I’m not okay. What did I do?” I perk up when she asks.

I grab her hand, a bit harder than planned, and I sternly speak, “Nothing. You are amazing. Josh…” She shivers at his name, “Josh is stupid. He’s an ass. He doesn’t realize what a big loss he’s at.”

Liv nods and smiles a very very weak smile. We both nearly jump at the loud crash sound. I look up, it sounds like something broke.I don’t see anything, then, I spot a girl. A little older than me, maybe Liv’s age? I don’t recognize her. She turns the corner and starts running towards us. When she catches up, she breathlessly speaks.

“Oh my god. Are you okay? He’s a jerk, a fucking idiot, Liv! I can’t believe it! I kicked him out and punched him along the way. That was the first thing I thought to do. I think I broke the wall a little bit, but I’ll pay for it, he had it coming. How’re you doing?” This woman looks at me, “Is she doing okay? Is she in shock? She might need water, okay Maddie?” I don’t know who this chick is, but she seems to know me and Liv well.

“Wait,” I pull Liv back a step, “Who are you? I mean- Thank you for caring, but… Do I know you?” The girl takes a few steps back and looks at me puzzled and almost hurt. Then she looks as if she’s just remembered something.

“Oh my gosh! I forgot about the stupid mask! Hold on!” She lifts her arms and whispers some words I can’t make out. Her hands let out some dark purple magic. She is encaved in purple smokey, galactic like clouds. Then, the clouds fade and she comes back into veiw.

“I’m sorry, I had a mask spell on!”

“Holy shit.” I look at her and then look at Liv, her eyes are wide. “Is it… Is it really you?”

“Nora.” Liv says. She gets up and hugs Nora right there, I follow after. It’s been years since I’ve seen her face. Last time I saw her or even spoke to her was before she left for classes.

“It is. It’s me.” Nora responds, me and Liv back up a little bit and get a good look at her. I can’t believe the day this has been. The only thing I can thing is, “oh my god”.
