Chapter 3 - Aboard The Hogwarts Express
Chapter 3
When the four of them went to the train station, they went past through the wall and entered the train. It took them half an hour to get there, so they got down and proceeded on the boats. Everyone was enjoying it except for Linda:
"Are you sure this is going to be fun? It's really awkward being a witch."
"Don't worry my darling, it's going to be fine, alright?"
"OK."
They kissed each other and they went to the castle where they past through the stairs and into The Great Hall. They took their seats and waited for Professor McGonagall to tell Dumbledore the speech to start the year of 3rd year. So Professor McGonagall begins:
"Attention please. Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words."
"New years, Welcome To Hogwarts. My name is Professor Dumbledore and I'm going to be your new Headmaster. As for the others, welcome back. As I'm going to quickly begin, today is a special day. We are going to have a whole day having free-time. And also, there are Quidditch practices and games. Plus, your new Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher will be Mr. Felix. And for the first years, I'm nicely and honestly telling you that Mr. Filch, round next to the entrance told me that no one is allowed on the third floor, except if you want to suffer the most painful death of your life; also The Forbidden Forest is out of bounds except for detentions. And if you behave and respect the rules, you'll earn points; any breaking of rules, you'll lose points. Now, I'll hand it over to Professor McGonagall for The Sorting Hat."
Dumbledore sits down and McGonagall stands and says:
"When I call your name, you'll come forth and I'll put this hat on your head for The Sorting Hat to sort you into your houses. Okay, Anna Ashton?"
Anna went to sit on the stool.
"Gryffindor!" the hat shouted. The Griffyndors cheered.
"Grace Bright?"
Grace went to the stool and sat.
"Ravenclaw!" The Ravenclaws cheered.
"Serena Evans?"
Serena sat on the stool.
"Hufflepuff!" The Hufflepuffs cheered.
"Francis Great?"
Francis went to the stool and sat.
"Slytherin!" The Slytherins cheered.
After the rest were done, they silenced everyone so Dumbledore might speak.
"Let the feast begin!" At once there was food in abundant and everyone tucked in. It took a long time everyone finished till they started departing for their dormitories guided by their Prefects.
