Chapter 12 - The Birthday Party
Chapter 12
Morning came. The students rushed to The Great Hall and started chatting about the invitation that they found under their pillow. When Harry, Hermione and Linda woke up, they also found an invitation under their pillow.
"Oh, we have an invitation to a birthday party, Hermy. Let me read it. I guess is the same message: To Hermione, Today is my birthday and you are invited. The celebration is going to be all day Professor Dumbledore is at the hall to announce it. Hope you'll be there. From Ginny. Well, I guess Ron didn't get one, because he knows that her sister has a birthday party."
"That's sounds great! Do you have one too?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah, of course, she's my cousin. Of course she'll invite me." Linda answered. They both laughed and rushed to the boys' dormitories.
"Oi! You guys, have you got Ginny's invitation to her party? Except for Ron?" Linda said.
"Yes, we do. We found it under our pillow." Neville said.
"Oh, I bet Professor McGonagall put it there in the middle of the night." Ron said.
Linda proceeded to Harry's bed. As she touched him, Harry woke up.
"Sweetheart, wake up. You have an invitation under your pillow. It's Ginny's birthday."
"Oh, really, darling?" Harry asked.
"Yes, everybody is at the hall. You have to hurry up, because if you don't, we get detention from Professor McGonagall. So if I were you, I'll just hurry up with the brushing, the showering and the dressing, but, if you need my help, I'll always use the Dressing Charm."
"Alright, I'll be done in 10mins, OK?" Harry said.
"OK sweetie." Linda confirmed.
She kissed him and he rushed into the boys' bathroom.
When he was done, Linda had to help Hermione put on the mascara, but Neville started complaining:
"Oi, come on, we don't have time for make-up! You have to hurry up!"
"We have to look pretty on Ginny's birthday. What if, Ginny wore mascara? Mind your own business! Besides, people might be late!" Linda yelled.
"OK, OK fine. But hurry up." Neville answered, rolling his eyes.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me." Linda said, angrily.
"I'm out! Come on, do this thing quickly!" Harry said.
"Coming dear, nearly done with the mascara." Linda said. "Here done, now, is you, "Vestitium!"
He was wearing his uniform and off they went quickly, luckily they were first to The Hall.
"See Neville, I told you they will be late!" Linda said, folding her arms.
There was a loud tantrum of students rushing in The Hall, they quickly sat down, being ready for Professor Dumbledore's speech:
"Welcome boys and girls, I have a few words to say, not much. Today is Ginny's birthday and I like to announce that it is going to be a full day, which means that there are no lessons going on today, but, of course tomorrow there are lessons. I declare that the celebration begins."
There was a loud applause from everyone, except for the Slytherins. The teachers were so happy and overjoyed and everyone else.
There was a great feast and everyone enjoyed it. When it was evening, they went back to their dormitories. Harry went to Professor Dumbledore and asked if tomorrow they could go and continue the investigation, and Professor Dumbledore agreed. After that, they rushed to their dormitories to get a good sleep.
"Oh, we have an invitation to a birthday party, Hermy. Let me read it. I guess is the same message: To Hermione, Today is my birthday and you are invited. The celebration is going to be all day Professor Dumbledore is at the hall to announce it. Hope you'll be there. From Ginny. Well, I guess Ron didn't get one, because he knows that her sister has a birthday party."
