Before wands: Mages and Their Spells

written by Guardian Khadgar

I am the Guardian, Khadgar. I have saved the Earth from its darkest times, when orcs had invaded through a portal and when my fellow protector of the Earth became a demon when he was trying to help save the Earth. In this book, I will tell you about the time when I conjured spells using my hands, not a wand, and when mages were specially trained to defeat dark wizards. Read this if you want to be able to cast spells without your wand.

An Introduction to Mages and Their Spells

Chapter 1
A mage is a magician or a learned person. Mages have existed since the early years of 1092, and have since developed greatly. The first mage to be known was Robin Hood, with his enchanted bow and arrow. He received his enchantment powers from some deep, unknown part of the world. Since then, many mages have emerged.

The first mage to ever show his powers in public was a Goblin by the name of Musord Tux, who claimed to be able to turn one coin into two. But, since 1678, mages have not shown their powers to Muggles because many of the people who watched them wanted to become a mage, and used dark magic against all. The spells which mages use are generated solely through their chi, or their inner life force. The stronger the chi of a person, the stronger his spells will be.

Most of the spells used by mages only require chi. But, more advanced spells require determination and inner power. You might not be able to use some of the spells in the book.
