Allured Artifacts
This mirror seemed plain, all silver and glass,
Until it began to speak as you'd pass.
With gentle whispers, it’d share a clue,
Reveal hidden secrets no one else knew.
But pry too far and it might twist a tale,
Turning friend to foe, making faces pale.
So look, but don’t linger, and be wise to know,
The mirror’s whispers can come and go.
A cape so light it floats in the breeze,
Slip it on, and you'll drift with ease!
With one leap, you’re lifted, near the roof,
Until wind changes course—and you're cut loose.
Useful for dodging and moving unseen,
But watch the weather, keep it serene.
For a gust too strong or spell gone askew,
Might find you tangled in treetops too.
Enchanted wool, soft and bright red,
Keeping hands cosy, fingers well-fed.
They warm with a thought, perfect and snug,
For chilly winter nights and snowball shrugs.
But slip them off quick when warmth turns fierce,
Or you’ll feel a sting that’s hard to pierce.
Clever for frosty walks through snow,
Yet not for summer’s heat, as you’ll swiftly know.
A lantern that glows when something’s gone,
Guides you to places you once stepped upon.
Keys, quills, notes lost in haste,
All found again with barely a trace.
Yet there’s a catch—if you’ve something to hide,
The light may reveal what you'd rather confide.
Handy for the forgetful, a friend to the lost,
But secrets uncovered come at a cost.
Woven from threads of a quiet blue,
Wrap it around, and calm comes through.
Perfect for nerves before exams,
Or for steady hands when casting charms.
Yet overuse might dull the thrill,
Of the heart’s own courage, iron and will.
So wear it wisely, only in need,
For bravery blooms from the heart's own seed.
