Hogwarts Hijinks

Hogwarts Hijinks

At Hogwarts, when the day was long,
Some students thought, “What could go wrong?”
With wands in hand, they hatched a plan,
To prank their mates—because they can!

Transfigure a chair into a squawking goose,
Or slip in a spell to make their shoes loose.
But the best of all, their crowning plot,
Was conjuring frogs—quite a lot!

Into the bags of their friends they slipped,
And watched as the poor students flipped!
Frogs leapt out with croaks so loud,
Bounding about, delighting the crowd.

One boy screamed, “What in Merlin’s name?”
While a girl tried to catch one without much aim.
The halls echoed with laughter, echoed with glee,
As frogs hopped around, causing a spree.

But soon came a snap, a stern teacher’s glare,
The students gulped, caught in their affair.
Detention was certain, but worth the fun,
Because at Hogwarts, mischief’s never done!
