Warm smoke curls into the sky as the scarlet red Hogwarts Express comes into view, its whistle echoing across the platform. You board the train, squeezing past a crowd of eager students filling the narrow corridors, all chattering excitedly about the upcoming school year. After some effort, you manage to find an empty compartment, settling in with a sigh of relief. Reaching into your pocket, you pull out a Pumpkin Pastie just as the train lurches forward, rolling through the portrait-like landscape.

A sudden knock at the door startles you, and you glance up to see a young Ravenclaw girl with a bright smile and arms full of papers. She seems to have a glint of excitement in her eyes.

"Would you like a copy? Only 3 Sickles!" she offers, her dark black hair falling into her face.
You raise an eyebrow. "What is it?"

Her grin widens. "Why, it’s Hogwarts Monthly News, of course!"

Welcome readers! Glad to see you back here to read Issue 8 of Hogwarts Monthly News. This month has already been quite exciting, seeing that all of us are now back at school. I most likely saw you all at King’s Cross not too long ago! This term has been off to a wonderful start, especially with the amazing beginning of the Magical Studies Group. It’s been a great experience for me so far, and I hope it’s been the same for all of you!

September has been a very fabulous and jam-packed month for us all, and there is just so much news to discuss!
