5th of July: from Lily to Davis

Chapter 1

5th of July

Dear Davis,

Don't worry I haven't killed anyone yet. I am calmly and patiently waiting at home until the start of next year. I've drawn myself a little calendar where I cross out the days until term starts. I hung it on my wall above my bed.

Things have been really uneventful here. I feel like I'm going to hate this summer. There's nothing to do! I have no other family than my dad and my uncle: my mom died, all my grandparents died, my uncle (Albus) doesn't have any kids so no cousins, and my dead aunt Ariana didn't have any kid either! My family tree litterally stops after writing three names. How pathetic is that?!

Anyways, at least I can walk around Hogwmeade as much as I want, but there are no kids here during the summer so once I've been through all the shops it gets really boring.

I hope your summer is going better than mine. How about you write me an extremely long letter so it take me some time to red it and I can be distracted for a while.

Hope your family is doing well,

Lily.

P.S.: Don't give my owl any food if he asks for it. He's always hungry for some reason. Don't worry, we do feed him well.
