Hello there, readers! Welcome to another instalment of Hogwarts This Month! Since HiH was down for most of June, the magazine's executive has decided to merge the issues of June and July into one issue. This chapter is therefore going to be called Hogwarts These Months, just for this issue due to the situation.

For both of these months, Hogwarts Is Here has been having really bad blackouts. Most of us have experienced this and it made it difficult for us to learn, communicate, and participate in events happening around HiH. Hopefully these blackouts will clear up and things can go back to normal again!

June has been a very delightful month, with the warmth and vibrant light of the sun, as well as a lot of Potter-related important dates and stories. Take a stroll through the memory lane with us as we recount and remember these Hogwarts happenings from June.

Let's start with birthdays. Our first birthday of the month belongs to none other than Draco Malfoy, whose birthday falls on June 5th. And of course, we can't forget about the next one! Dobby the house elf celebrates his birthday on the 28th of June. Let us wish both these characters a simply delightful birthday, straight from our hearts!

Quidditch season has ended with a victory from Slytherin! The Hogwarts school year has finally ended. Hogwarts got out on the last Saturday of June. We all have said goodbye to friends, but we're thankful that we can still study at Hogwarts all year round here at HiH!

There are also a couple of things going on around Hogwarts currently. The applications for becoming a Professor are still open, and there are always positions to be a PA open, the current ones being Divination and Flying! If you have an interest in any of the criteria to become a Professor or a PA, you should definitely send in an application! The worst that can happen is that they say no.

July was a very fun month, ranging from multiple celebrations, and some very important events. Of course, in reality, Hogwarts students are out of school! But that doesn't mean we can’t learn in our own homes with HiH!

July has a very special birthday. Harry Potter, of course! Where would we all be without Harry’s selflessness and heroics? Read on and listen to Harry’s story told in a chapter in this issue, coming later.

July is also a month full of holidays and special dates. We hope you read and enjoy stories from all over the world!
