Faye and Ermine begin telling the other Hufflepuffs about what they knew. They were all so busy chattering, they didn't notice a vampire flying past their window. 
 Soon they went to bed. 
Everyone except for Faye. She decided to go explore the castle and to find out the truth. She woke up Ermine and they flew outside the window. Immediately, they spotted one. And as it was flying closer to the girls, they immediately noticed who it was. Professor Deanus! They was smiling as he flew towards them. 'Well girls, well done! You seemed to have found out everything!' He said. The girls looked at each other confused. 'You must know that I am the real Professor, and the one in the hospital wing was just a rat I used transfiguration on. I'm going to kill everyone in this school, so I can take over the headmaster's job!' The two girls looked shocked to hear that, but they pretended that that story wasn't new to them. Suddenly, the prefect looked out of the window. Immediately he flew out and cast a powerful spell on the vampire. He froze immediately and dropped down to the ground. Dead. They all then ran towards the teachers and told them everything. They then threw out the rat in the hospital wing and then told Faye and Ermine and the prefect to keep it a secret. The headmaster told everyone else that Professor Deanus had died in the hospital, and nobody ever talked about him again.
