Draco and Hermione were reading quietly in the armchair with the warmth of the fireplace and the light of the fire when they heard something fall. They both jumped and quickly went to Hermione's room.

"What did it fall Mione?" asked Draco who was behind her looking into the room.

"I don't know. Wait, don't go in yet." She grabbed her wand tightly and said in a clear voice "Homenum revelio!" With this she detected a person in her room covered with a cloak. At first, she thought it was Harry then she shouted at him,

"Harry Potter, get out of my room and if it was Ron who sent you can tell him that..." At that moment a laugh, which was obviously not from a boy but from a girl, was heard and Ginny took off the invisibility cloak.

"What do you want me to tell my brother, sorry?" she laughed again and Draco asked her.

"How did you get in?" He looked very surprised.

"It was actually pretty easy. I just took Harry's cloak off, followed you after I saw you leave the astronomy tower and went in with you. It was a piece of cake."

"You shouldn't be out of bed at this hour Gin, and you know it very well." Hermione's voice sounded firm but also loving towards her friend. "Come on, I'll leave you in your common room."

"I... wouldn't go out if I were you. You're not allowed to go out either."

"Actually Gin, we are allowed to go out at night. Come on." The two of them went out with Draco behind them. Ginny put on her cloak and Hermione led them. When they reached the portrait of the fat lady she saw Hermione and exclaimed,

"Hermione! The best witch, how lovely to see you in this place!" Ginny said the key and they went in so Ginny could go to bed. Once Malfoy and Granger left, they decided to go get something to eat. They entered the great hall and went to the kitchen. There they saw a single house elf.

"Good night" Hermione said to the elf who gave her a smile and asked them..

"Would you like anything before I go? I still have chocolate and butterbeer." Draco and Hermione looked at each other and ordered two cups of hot chocolate.

They went to sit in the hall and the elf brought them their cups. They took their chocolate and headed to their tower but something stopped them. They saw a blue light on the ground floor of the castle.

"I think it's the Goblet of Fire." Draco kept his eyes on the two large, heavy doors that faced the light.

"Drake, let's go to the tower. We'll see about that tomorrow, please?" She was too sleepy to continue walking in the halls of Hogwarts.

"Okay Mione. Let's go." They walked to the common room and entered. Hermione wanted to finish the chapter she had started an hour ago so she sat next to Draco and continued reading.

Hermione P.O.V.:

She was reading one of the last chapters of 'Little Women', the book she hadn't finished on the train. She went to her room and put on her pajamas. Then she came out once more and saw that Draco was still staring at his new muggle book. She sat next to him and read sleepily. She could barely pay attention to what she was reading. She blinked and when she opened her eyes again, it was daylight. She looked around and realized that it wasn't the living room, it was her room. She was in her bed covered with a sheet and her book was open on the page she had left it on, placed on her desk.

Draco P.O.V.:

He entered the common room and decided that he would continue reading 'Anne of Green Gables'. He loved the book and couldn't put it down (Even though he could probably recite it by heart, it was like the ninth time he had read it). He saw that Hermione entered her room and five minutes later she came out ready for bed. He took the book that he had before discovering that Ginny had followed them and continued reading it. He saw that she was nodding off too much and assumed that she would go to sleep quickly, but in reality she didn't. He managed to stay up for another half hour reading until suddenly he heard the thud of a book against the floor. He turned and Hermione had fallen asleep on his shoulder, dropping the book. At first he didn't know how he should react. He blushed a little and tried to wake her up, but she wasn't going to do it. He carried her to his room and put her in his bed. He covered her with the first sheet he saw and went for his book. He placed the book on his desk on the same page he found it open on and went to his room. Before going to sleep, he went back into Hermione's room. He saw her sleeping so peacefully that he could only say to her in a low voice, whispering,

"Good night Mione, I love you."

Normal P.O.V.:

Upon waking up, Hermione didn't know how she had gotten to her room but after a moment she realized that it had been Draco Malfoy who had taken her to her bed. She took her things and went to the bathroom. She locked the door and took a shower. Then she went out and in the closet was her Hogwarts uniform. She put it on and also she put on some perfume too. She was doing her hair when Draco came through the bathroom door. He seemed a bit quiet and didn't want to look her in the eye.

"Good morning Drake." Hermione said with a smile.

"G-good morning Mione... Ugh, have you seen my wand?" he looked like he felt silly asking about his wand.

"Did you forget it here last night?" She laughed as her hand covered her mouth. "Thanks by the way." She walked over to her desk and picked up the wand that was next to her book. She gave it to Draco and he said quietly.

"You-you're welcome. Thanks for my w-wand." He was very nervous but he knew she hadn't heard the last thing he had said to her so he calmed down a bit more.

They both went downstairs and the first thing they had to do was go and scold a group of Hufflepuffs and Griffindors who were making mischief with products from George's shop. Then they went to breakfast and McGonagall announced,

"The Goblet has been placed on the ground floor of the castle. Only fifth year and above will be able to participate. Our classmates from Beauxbatons and Dumstrang will also come. Remember, if the Goblet chooses you there is no turning back and this is not for the weak so think carefully and do not take it lightly. There are people who have died in the Tournament." With this he made the announcement that they could eat.

Something was going around in Draco's mind. He wanted to be part of the tournament but he was not sure. The mail arrived and everything that was in his mind was erased. Classes were starting in a moment, he had to be focused. For him and for Hermione, it was a new opportunity.
