Hermione woke up very excited and happy. Today was the day the engagement between Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley was going to be celebrated! Well the truth was that they had gotten engaged two months ago but they wanted to get all their friends and family together and today was the day of the party. Hermione got up from her bed and went to look at the window, the sun was just rising. She went to the bed that was next to hers where Ginny lay sleeping very peacefully. "Gin, come on, wake up Gin!" She told him while shaking her slightly. "Come on, get up."

"What's wrong Mione, it's very early and I'm tired" Ginny sat on the edge of her bed while she rubbed her eyes.

"None of that, come on, upstairs. You have to get ready for the party."

Ginny laughed and stood up. They both chose the clothes they were going to wear and then brushed and combed their hair. Hermione charmed the sheets to fold and straighten themselves while she helped Ginny with her hair and makeup. Then Ginny helped Hermione. They both came out still in their pajamas and went to wake up the boys. When they entered the room, they only found Harry and he was awake. This seemed very strange to them since it was 6:38 in the morning.

"Harry? Why are you awake?" Hermione asked him.

"Yes and where is Ron?" Ginny said as she scanned the entire room.

"Well, he made us hungry and he went to get something to eat but it took a long time and I'm very hungry."

At that moment, Ron came in and was scared when he saw the girls with Harry. "But what?!... Don't scare me like that!"

Ron's reaction made Ginny burst into laughter and then she hit Harry and then Hermione and then Ron all laughed so hard that they even woke up Molly and Arthur Weasley who entered the boys' room only to find everyone lying on the floor. the floor laughing out loud.

 It wasn't that early anymore, it was about 7:20 so Arthur said it was time to start the day.

"I see you couldn't wait any longer for it to be later right guys?" Arthur said as he watched them from the door.

"Good morning Mr. Weasly," Harry and Hermione said at the same time.

"Good morning everyone, now get up and get ready and we're going to finish getting everything ready for Ginny and Harry."

Everyone got up from where they were and headed to their morning chores. Ginny and Hermione went to change. Ginny had a completely gold dress with lilac details and then she went out to help her mother. Meanwhile, Hermione had a red dress with ruffles on the shoulders, gold lace and yellow buttons. She examined herself for a moment while looking in the mirror, she loved how her dress looked on her, but her happiness would not last long.

"What are you wearing? Are you going out with... that?" It was Ron who had already dressed.

"What's wrong with my dress? Of course I'm going out in it," Hermione replied with a very displeased tone.

"Oh no, I don't think so. Viktor Krum gave you that dress in our fifth year and I don't like it at all."

"But I do, Ronald, and I'm not going to take it off, you understand!"

Harry could hear the argument from the other room and knew it was better to intervene than wait to hear Hermione invoking a sectusempra on Ron.

"Hermone! You look good, huh!" He tried to sound as natural as possible but it was no big secret that pretending was not his greatest strength, so to speak.

Hermione just left there very upset with Ron. She came down the Steps and went to help Mrs. Weasley with the preparations and breakfast. They were cooking eggs for everyone when they knocked on the door of the Burrow.

"Don't worry Mr. WEasley, I'll open it" Hermione told him as she walked towards the door, she opened it and what was once an angry face on her face turned into a big smile.

"Viktor!" She shouted as she lunged at the famous Quidditch player to hug him. "I'm so glad to see you, it's been so long since we last saw each other!"

"Hermione!" She told him as he picked her up and walked around then hugged her. "I missed you so much, by the way, I brought you this." Krum took out of one of his pockets a silver bracelet with small emeralds and two Rubies pendants. One was an 'H' and the other was a 'V'.

"They are the initials of our names, do you like it?"

"I love it, Viktor, thank you" She hugged him again. "I think it matches the dress, don't you think?" She told him as he did a little spin and laughed.

Ron was going down the stairs and saw Hermione and Krum burning, obviously this made him the same color as her hair and he ran towards the door.

"And what are you doing here?" she demanded as he grabbed Hermione's wrist and pulled her away from him. "Shouldn't you be at some quidditch tournament or something important?"

"What could be more important than the engagement of an old friend and your sister? Now you calm down a little, I was invited by Potter."

"Yes Ronald, calm down that stupid jealousy!" She told him as she let go

from his hand.

Ron was still angry and just left there to go eat in peace. While he was going to the kitchen upset, Harry came downstairs and saw his friend Krum outside with Hermione.

"Krum! How are you friend?" She said to him from the stairs - "you arrived earlier than expected"

"Potter! Of course I had to get there earlier, how could I miss the party!"

Harry smiled and moved out of the way so Viktor Krum could pass, "Do you want to join us for breakfast?"

"Of course"

As I say these words, I step forward and greet everyone. They ate quietly and then started decorating the place. Ginny was with Hermione making the food along with Molly. Krum used his broom to put up the outside decorations and lights for the night. Harry and Ron helped put up the interior decorations and the tables outside. Arthur helped by cleaning the plates and tables since they had been stored in the cupboard for some time. By 1:40, everything was ready. There was roast chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables and many delicious things. In another table there were magical sweets such as chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Dragee, Ice Cream Mice and many others. There were also drinks like butter sauce, pumpkin juice, Alheli, and for their Lovegood guests, gurdirroot infusion. The lights were bright colors like Red, Yellow, Green, Purple and many others. When they finished, everyone sat down to rest for a moment.

"Hey Gin, tell me, have you decided yet?"

"I don't think you even have to ask me that, of course."

"And well?"

She laughed lightly and replied, "I'm going back to Hogwarts this year!"

They were all going back to Hogwarts. They were happy and relaxed for a moment, it was almost time for everyone to arrive.
