Five Reasons Why We Love Ginny Weasley

Chapter 15

Ah, Ginny Weasley - a character who we can't help but fall in love with. Nonetheless, have you ever wondered about why we love her so much? Here are five compelling reasons why Ginny deserves the admiration she receives! From her nifty talent to cast Bat-Bogey Hexes to her unique perspective on the world... Let's hit the trail!!

No.1 - Her Amazing Gifts
Ginny’s aptitude on the most popular wizarding world sport - Quidditch - and her mastery of the Bat-Bogey Hex are nothing short of extraordinary. We will never forget the time when she hexed Draco Malfoy with the Bat-Bogey Hex, obliquely helping Harry retrieve his wand and revealing Voldemort’s return, nor the time her Quidditch skills helped Gryffindor win the Quidditch Cup!
But most importantly - her confidence in pursuing what she loves is inspiring, whether it was choosing to be a Chaser rather than a Seeker because she preferred scoring goals, or her extraordinary talent in duelling! Yep, we catch the drift- "size is no guarantee of power".

No. 2 - Her Protective Nature Towards Loved Ones
Though she seemed shy in Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets while possessed by Riddle's diary, Ginny’s loyalty to her loved ones is unwavering. She stood up for Luna Lovegood by stopping people from calling her "Loony". She also defended Harry in front of the Malfoys in Flourish and Blotts and argued vehemently with her whole family to join the Battle of Hogwarts, despite knowing the dangers that lay ahead of her. All these examples show that Ginny Weasley will do anything to protect her loved ones - once you become friends, you're friends for life - this suits Ginny Weasley well.

No. 3 - Her Firm And Strong-Willed Character
Ginny’s life was far from easy. Constantly overshadowed by her older brothers, and she had to endure awful experiences with Tom Riddle's diary… Ginny never let these hardships defeat her! She remained steadfast and never backed down. It was she who relentlessly pursued Harry to talk after Mr. Weasley's attack, eventually succeeding after many failed attempts. Furthermore, her unswerving spirit in standing by her family and friends' side is truly creditable .

No. 4 - Her Undeniable Bravery
Ginny Weasley once said:
"The thing about growing up with Fred and George is that you start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve."
As a Gryffindor, Ginny's bravery is evident in many varying instances. Her escape from Umbridge’s clutches, her fighting the whole Inquisitorial Squad and joining Harry on going to the Ministry of Magic are just a few highlights. And let’s not forget her attempt to steal the Sword of Gryffindor and beyond!
She is fearless in pointing out others' mistakes whether it be a foe, friend, family member, or teacher. She insisted on befriending Luna Lovegood although everyone else avoided her and called her "Loony" bluntly. And don’t forget the case when she comforted a fellow girl during the Battle of Hogwarts hiding her fear to give others comfort. Imagine how much strength and courage it took to do extraordinary things like that!!

No 5. - Her Unique Perspective on the World
It's not only Ginny's nerve that outspends her - her view of the world also makes her individual and fantastic. Her ability to make serious situations light, a trait likely influenced by her upbringing with Fred and George is both invigorating and appealing. And after all, who would name their sister-in-law "Phlegm"?

Whether it be through her determination or bravery, or her shocking talents, or her special perspectives, Ginny Weasley remains a beloved and inspiring character to all of us. Thank you, Ginny, for bringing hope, happiness and strength when we needed it most. Last but not the least:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
