382 BCE Olivander family starts making wands
1000 CE Wizarding World begins to separate from the Muggles
1000 CE to 1400 CE Wizarding World ruled by Council of Warlocks
1400s many magical governments created based on location, cultural and ethnic values
Witches/Wizards prosecuted 1600s
1689 International Stature of Secrecy (separated non magical and magical worlds)
1875 Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery (wizards/witches under 17 couldn’t practice magic outside of school unless they were protecting themselves or others)
Witches/ Wizards used primitive tools back then to focus there magic
Modern wands have a shaft that contains a core from a magical creature
Lumos (turns on light)
Nox (turns off light)
