School

I wake up at 6:30
To go to school
To wake up so early.
I think it is cruel.

But I have to catch the bus in an hour,
So I have to be quick and have a five minute shower.

I brush my teeth,
And hurry to change,
There's no breakfast feast,
But a granola bar from Spain.

I rushed to my bus stop,
Hopping on one leg:
My laces were undone
And right past me, my bus sped.

But it's ok, the driver waited for me
I took my money out and paid.
I walked to my seat,
Tired and relieved
But I dreaded the upcoming day.
