Hey... Guys.

I've been really busy lately and not able to write in my diary.

And why have I been busy?

Now you're going to find out about the 'secret' thing I mentioned on the 3rd.

Well, I had woken up that morning, ready to go to school when I checked an OWL sent by my friend, Sienna Lockwood, owner and founder of Hogwarts Monthly News.

In her OWL, she told me some BREAKING news...

She was leaving HIH! She said that she was too busy in her muggle life. And I guessed straightaway what she said next...

"Hazel, you've been an amazing publishing secretary, and I don't know how you come up with so many ideas. You might know what I'm going to say now. Hazel, could you take over the magazine staring from June."

I was heart-broken, but agreed to take over. I actually had to take over from the 21st, because it turned out that she was leaving the group early. (She's still in HiH until the end of this month.)

That means that this May, it will be my first issue.

I'm not as nervous as I was before, I just hope that I'll be organised and that everything will go to plan. 

Readers and team, I promise that I will try to do my very BEST in all of the issues, including this May issue coming out on the 31st. I will strive hard, and I just-don't-know-what-to-write-in-this-supposed-to-be-emotional-paragraph.

: p I guess some people (LIKE ME!) never change even when their whole life's been flipped over because of a magazine.

Oooh, I'm sooo excited for publishing.

On the 19th was my cousin's birthday, so of course we attended. It was fun.

I've been feeling sick since the 20th- just coughing so much and feeling so cold. It IS Autumn here in Australia, but winter IS approaching.

And so is my birthday!!! YAYY!!!

You know what, the part about waking up to an OWL saying you're taking over a magazine is somewhat just like what happened in Kyra W. Granger Potter's diary. Oh, go check her books out, she's an amazing author!
