I awoke, as the sun came streaming through the clear windows, shooting my eyes which shut tight again as soon as I opened them. My memories of the dream were still there, even though I tried to put the biggest smile on my face. As scientists say, the more you smile the happier you are. 

Despite me being half-asleep, Willow was wide awake and she was standing up with her feet wide apart making her look like a hero. “Jade, we have a big day ahead today. Imagine us in the buffet announcing the secret maid, her going to jail. And as always, we end up as the heroes, not the police,” Willow said, looking up to the sky.          

“Mhm,” I mumbled, trying to fall back asleep again. Willow, very angrily, dragged me out of bed and slid my slippers on. “It’s time to go, come on,” she shouted. I nodded, and stood up with an arched back. It was the day, she was right, but that dream didn’t give me all the positive feelings that I should have. 

“Jade, listen up!” Willow said, straightening her back. “I have been working on the speech for very long, so listen carefully.” The wind flew in, making Willow seem more beautiful than ever. “Hello everyone, who works in this hotel or is taking a holiday just like me! My name is Willow Jones and I have solved a very fundamental case, with an answer that everyone has been looking for. Who is this mysterious maid acting like she is a real maid? And why has she been hiding from us? I am here to announce the answer with a lot of proof, and I’m hoping that person confesses, it just makes it a whole lot easier for us. No? Well, I guess I’ll just have to say it myself. Oh, and I can’t forget that Jade, my trusty companion, also helped me solve the case. Though I did do most of it. Anyways, oh this is just so exciting. But I don't want to keep you waiting. Our secret maid is Sophie Mccloud!!!.” Willow looked at me, and asked, “What do you think, Jade?”                                                            “Sure,” I moaned. Willow sighed, and grabbed my hand, we were going down to the buffet.

My feet dragged along the staircases, and my eyes were melting. I was too tired to even think about our case, at least today it was going to end and after I could enjoy the rest of the holidays.

The smell of the food traveled up my nose and it hypnotized me. Sophie was nowhere to be seen and I started get a bit worried; what if she was about to strike now?

"Ok, Jade. You ready? Grab a piece of bread first, we need to warm up before I make my amazing speech. You know, Jade. This is the best day of my life, Sophie will be gone, once and for all," Willlow said.

"Yep, your going to do fine. Except, Sophie isn't here." I looked at her, and she looked back trying to hide her worries. "What if she's killing someone now!"

"No, no, no, Jade!" She looked at me like she didn't care, but deep down I knew she did. "What's with all the negativity? Sophie will come, I know it. By the way, mum and dad are coming now. Before you say there in danger, I had to tell you. Hurry up, get some food! We need to be up there before anything bad happens." I sighed; Willow was not going to listen to me. Taking some food, I ran up to the top of the dining room where everyone could see me. I could see that Willow's mum and dad had arrived, so I calmed down a little.

Now was the time where we would reveal ourselves, nobody, and nobody underestimates, 'The Detective Scoiety'. Ok, everybody was looking at us, totally nothing I should be worried about right now. Was I sweating, was I? No, everything was going to be fine, yep, yep, yep.

"Hi, can I just make an announcement?" Willow said; she was also nervous, her knees were trembling."Hello everyone, who works in this hotel or is taking a holiday just like me!
