The Next Moring at my house I see JJ walking towards me with a smile

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t my bright and shiny ray of sunshine, whatchya doing here JJ?” He watched me from below as I popped off a mango tossing it to him while he started walking up to me, watching me begin popping another off the tree, “Kiara and Pope are busy right now so you’re last on my list, wanna head to John B’s with me?”
“Ouchies, my poor little ol’ heart…” I faked a frown as I looked back at him from over my shoulder before smiling brightly and speaking with a chirp, “I would love to, eat up,” he smiled and I popped another mango off the tree turning to him, “wanna drive?”

Hopping out of the jeep JJ smiled, “and that’s what you call muddin’.” He was so excited when he hopped out that he reminded me of an energetic puppy, maybe even cuter and more excited than any I had seen prior to meeting him, “that was awesome, please tell me we can do that again?” I laughed brightly, “anytime hunny bun.”
“Hey,” JJ kind of paused as he thought for a second while hopping out of the passenger seat. “Not that I mind but, what's up with all the nicknames?” I looked up at him as I rounded the jeep, “oh that? I just don’t remember your name.”
He paused again and looked straight at me, into my eyes, I busted out in a head tossed back kind of laugh and he shook his head at me, chuckling before he walked up to me, “I just like them, working on the perfect one for you.” I looked up at him standing real close and poked his chest, “but don’t you worry I’ll find it.”
He snorted at me as he spoke up, just a bit shy, “I like sunshine, more than hunny bun at least.” He laughed and I gave a nod, “yeah, I like it too, might just have to keep that one,” smiling he gave me a nudge as we walked up to the porch and I smacked his side after watching his erratic rabbit hop up onto the porch.
I began looking through the window once we made it to the front door, tapping JJ on his shoulder. Moving over to me he looked through the window before motioning to keep me quiet with a single finger over his lips before pulling me with him to the other side of the door, “DCS! I know you're in there!” I smacked JJ’s arm as he banged on the door a few times, “JJ?!”

He laughed and jumped in front of the window, surprising John B, “Gotcha, slick. You should have seen your face. Your face was like…” I smacked him in the back of the head lightly as he poked the window laughing at the brown haired boy with sleepy red eyes, “Mornin’, come on JJ stop teasing him.”
“Ah, yes mam,” he stood at attention and saluted me as I stuck my tongue out at him before walking inside letting the screen door close, “Wake up buckaroo’ I don’t know what we’re doing but I brought a mango,” John B looked at me as JJ walked inside, “What’s the mango for?”
“It’s your healthy breakfast courtesy of my uncle's very vast mangrove, come on, it’s juicy.” JJ snorted again and I shook my head at him as John B sat up accepting the fruit. “Atta boy eat up. I have an inkling today is going to be exhausting.
