All of the students in our year were studying potions in the great hall and it honestly wasn't that hard to be distracted by one another. At the same time, we all quietly talk and work away on our potions homework and study books, but obviously, with the Yule Ball coming up soon and with some students still not having dates or students constantly talking about it Snape really wasn't having it with his students and was walking around just reading a book. Still, when he passed anyone who was talking about the Yule Ball he would hit them with his book or if they weren't listening to him he quickly pushed down their head nearly giving them whiplash when they weren't looking.

Harry, Ron, Hermione and I were all working away peacefully when Fred threw a ball of parchment at Ron's head to get his attention. He then asked him if he had a date and then threw another ball of parchment at Angelina Johnson to ask her if she would go to the ball with him. This was a way for Fred and George to get on Ron's nerves, being the heavily mischief boys that they were, Ron was getting jealous and worried about not getting a date for the Yule Ball. Then just to have his brother see that he isn't a wuss and can get a date he asks Hermione if she would go with her, but ends up messing it all up for him.

"Oi, Hermione, you're a girl."

"Very well spotted." At this point, Harry and I are trying not to get caught by Snape who is coming in our direction book in hand.

"Come with one of us?" and then Snape's potions book had hit the back of Hermione and Ron's head. Harry and I just tried to play it off cool like we had nothing to do with it, but we still got a book to the head for laughing a little. I looked back at him with a glare and he just shrugged his shoulders and continued on his way.

"Come on. It's one thing for a bloke to show up alone, for a girl, it's just sad." At this point I happened to be thinking to myself, maybe I should ask Severus to come with me, but I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Ron say that and I knew Ron was about to get the backhand of Hermione and to be honest I wasn't really happy with what he said either.

"I won't be going alone, because, believe it or not, someone's asked me!" She stood up and gave her book to Snape, grabbed her bag and before she left spoke once more,

"And I said yes!" Now Ron and Harry seemed upset that they had gotten her angry, and then Ron turned to me after a few seconds of not saying anything,

"What bout you, Y/N-" I stood up and scoffed once I was behind him and made my way to Snape, who at this point was technically my boyfriend if you like to look at it that way and we smiled at each other until I broke myself out of it. As I was walking back they were talking again and were ready to see them get whiplash from Snape who was readying his hands to come down violently onto their heads.

"Look, we've just gotta grit our teeth and do it. Tonight, when we get back to the common room, we'll both have partners. Agreed?"

"Agreed." I was trying not to laugh, but a small giggle had let out when they sighed in pain. I looked at Severus and he just raised an eyebrow at me and started to walk away from my troublesome friends.

As it was nearing the end of the day, I was the only one left in the Slytherin Common Room I decided that since I knew where the potions class was and I was able to navigate there in the dark, I had done it many times before coming back from detention with Severus or going there to spend some one on one time with him in secret. As I was making my way there I had to hide in a few spots in the darkest corners of the hallways to not get caught by Flitwick or Filch and Mrs. Norris, but soon enough I made it to his classroom. I knocked first in case he was busy talking to someone and I just randomly walked in without notice. But there wasn't a response like usual. So I opened the door and what I saw was shocking as hell. Nothing. Nothing was going on, there was no Severus nor any potions brewing. I sighed and knew that he was probably either in his chambers, where he barely ever is, walking around the halls on night duty, or he was at Hog's Head getting drunk. Great, love that for me.

I stood just outside his classroom door for about 10 minutes thinking that maybe he might be down here walking around or was going to come back to his classroom, but I ended up getting bored and almost got caught by Filch as I was thinking to myself so I just decided to go to his chambers and hope that he might be there, and there was no way I was going to try and get out to go to Hogsmeade, so this was my last hope. As soon as I got there, I listened through the door for a second to hear if he was moving around in there or if he might be talking to someone, which again would be weird and awkward If I just let myself in. I didn't happen to hear anything, but he could just be reading or working in his study so I knocked on the door with the back on my knuckles hoping to get an answer and I did. I heard footsteps coming up to the door. I wanted to surprise him so I made sure that nobody was coming down the hall and hid in a spot where I would be hidden by his door. As soon as he opened it, he didn't seem happy to be disturbed and have nobody standing there, but he wasn't going to give up easily, he knew that I was there, whether he knew it was me or not, I was not sure, but I still threw myself into his arms when he wasn't expecting it.

Laughing just a tad at how shocked he was to see me and to have me thrown into his arms he didn't say anything, he just pulled me into his chambers and locked the door behind him. I was still clinging onto him and when I closed the door I can imagine how annoying I was being, but I was just in the mood to be touching and feeling his body heat. As soon as the door was locked he wrapped his arms around my small body and held me there for a good few seconds and said before letting me go,

"What are you doing here?" I took a step back from him not expecting to see him in just a black t-shirt and light pants, but it made me feel even more comfortable.

"I just thought it would be nice to pay you a visit, and you weren't in your classroom so I thought maybe you just might be here."

"Well I don't want to risk getting us caught, please don't you ever come back-" I cut him off with my lips crashing on his forcefully. I was getting sick of him saying over and over again that he can't take risks, but Dumbledore already knows about it and he hasn't done anything plus I'm always super careful when I sneak out to see him so I didn't care about the risks anymore, but he was always so worried about us being taken apart, but I told him that it would never happen.

The kiss started to get more heated and he was gliding his cold hands up underneath my shirt to touch my hot skin on the other side. Never once had I really stopped just to think about how touchy-feely Severus was, and honestly, it made me even more happy to see him this way, running his hands all over my body. Soon I found myself doing the same to him, but dragging my nails into his skin causing him to groan as he pulled me closer to make the kiss more passionate which ended up causing my legs to go weak and I almost fell, but he caught me before I go hit the ground and he refused to break the kiss even though I was basically on the ground. I slowly stood back up, but before I could my legs were lifted off of the ground and into the air. The kiss broke and I screamed out a little bit but calmed down when I realized that it was Severus holding me in his arms and then he started to kiss and suck my neck while I giggled and moaned out loud. Soon he started to walk with me in his arms to his bedroom, I knew what was coming and honestly, I had been waiting for it for months. He gently laid me on the bed and then leaned over me and started to kiss my collarbone and rub my inner thigh underneath my skirt. This was going to be the best night of my life.

**** Hours Later ****

I was lying on Severus's chest as he slowly moved his fingers through my hair. We had been sitting there for a good 20 minutes just listening to each other's breath and just being together at that moment. Then I had an idea. I sat up leaning against the back of Sev's bed and asked him,

"Hey, I know that you don't have a choice because you're a teacher, but do you want to, maybe, consider it as me asking you if you want to go to the Yule Ball with me?" I looked over to him as he turned his head to look at me and he didn't say anything for a few seconds, but I could tell that he was thinking about it and then he responded.

"Sure. Why not." I hugged him happily as he probably was reminded of the pain he was going to go through in a few weeks and it made me laugh. I couldn't wait to dance with him and have a great night with my friends.
