The Newsroom at Hogwarts

Chapter 4

There are many places at Hogwarts that one can visit during breaks between classes. The beautiful castle is dotted with mysteries waiting to be explored. Discovering ancient secrets and hanging around the forbidden places in the castle and its grounds are definitely amusing, but to survive in any place or institution, one must most importantly keep track of news, notices, and announcements from the administration. Thankfully, Hogwarts Castle has a room solely dedicated to bringing you everything important that you need to know together in one place. If you have never visited the Newsroom, I suggest directing your steps toward it as soon as you can. The Newsroom holds valuable information about Professorships and PAships (PAs are Professor Assistants tasked with helping Professors grade assignments and answering academic queries of students who reach out to them) at Hogwarts, including the list of open PA applications that you may want to check out if you are an aspiring PA. Besides, the founder and co-creator of Hogwarts, Keith. D. Cardin, has put up some amazing content that may get you thinking—there's a piece about the Muggle singer Taylor Swift being sorted on walking through the gates of Hogwarts and a piece about whether or not squibs may have some magic. Both of these are truly enjoyable reads.

However, the newest and shiniest tidbit in the Newsroom that caught my eye on my last visit there was the latest notice put up by Headmistress Oshiro. What it said definitely intrigued me. The notice announced that our beloved Hogwarts Library is getting a makeover. Bookworms and nerds, did I catch your attention? Hogwarts is looking for someone to fill in the post of librarian and take care of the vast treasure trove of knowledge and huge bundles of creative work that the Hogwarts Library boasts. Are you feeling up to the task? Are you ready to take on some responsibilities and dedicate yourself to caring for the Hogwarts Library? Why not apply for the job now?
