News of the day

A mysterious 200 points have appeared in the Hufflepuff hourglass over night. People are struggling to see how and why they would be there. The Hogwarts Daily interviewed a Hufflepuff, who wishes not to be named, and they say, "I was asleep the whole last night. But I dreamed a professor was giving us 200 points! When I woke up, it all became true."

Breaking news! We (The Hogwarts Daily staff) have recieved a strong whiff of rumor that the current Ancient Runes professor may be thinking about resigning. We are still investigating so this might not be true, but the chances are high.

Portable swamps are everywhere! You must know about it. It started yesterday in the dungeons, during Potions, when suddenly six Ravenclaw boys set off numerous portable swamps. Now they are all over the castle! Professors are investigating into the case.

The Hogwarts Daily is pleased to inform everyone that we have a new cover! Hope you enjoy it! Now you can spot us better in the library. :)

Special Sunday

This Special Sunday, we are here to bring you a story...

Long, long ago lived a mean warlock with a stiff leg. The leg proved to be a very big problem for him while doing everything.

In the rare mornings he got up early, his leg hurt. It hurt as he went to get breakfast. It hurt as he brushed his teeth. It hurt as he picked up his wand. It hurt in every way, in the joints and in the muscles. In the late afternoons he was rarely away from home, his leg hurt even when sitting. It hurt all day long without stopping. Sometimes it prevented him from sleeping soundly.

"I have to do something about it," the warlock declared, "I will flip through my books and find a spell that can heal my leg."

His leg hurted a lot when he searched his shelves. He finally spotted The Healer's Helpmate. He flipped it open and read about legs. To his horror, he discovered his leg was a cursed leg that a mean person is imprisoned with until one becomes good again.

The warlock closed the book with a sigh. He was going to have to be "good". He started with helping the children in his village. Then the adults. And finally the whole world. He is still helping others today, determined to heal his leg.

Do you have a warning sign that shows you are being too mean to others and the world? How do you your warning sign? If you don't know how to, try helping the others around you. You will feel better.
