"Now don't you run off Flora dear. We don't need trouble." Father gripped my hand firmly as we walked through Prestine Possessions marketplace. The same place my older brother and sister got their items for Hogwarts. Being the youngest in the family Father is very watchful of me, he is thankful that a distant family member works there. He tugs my hand and we enter a shop that isn't like the others. A Victorian Gothic aesthetic with Steampunk details within the architecture that you could tell this was the oldest shop in the marketplace. There was no window's but only vents for circulation which surprisingly the room smelled herbal and sweet. Unlike all the other shops with there huge floor to ceiling shelves covering all there walls and natural light glowing in, this shop had shorter ceilings and the glowing warmth of candles in dark rustic brass wall sconces. Five foot wide wooden base with a sheet metal countertop stood three feet from the back wall with a door made of Pinewood and Iron stood to the left of the counter while a small sitting area took up housing on the rightside. A couple men come out through the door, one is wearing a black infantry winter coat and the other is in a victorian tailcoat. Father ushers' me to sit down in the sitting area. The man in the victorian tailcoat joins me while father goes through the door with the other man. In a gentle tone the man next to me speaks softly, "I am Clarence. You must be Flora. Correct?" I nod yes and he continues. "Millie and Connor were outgoing but you, you are a quiet one. I would like to ask you a question, is that alright?" Nodding yes he resumes with the question, "What class are you looking forward to?" I close the book I've been reading that read 'Ancient Runes Uncovered'. "Ah Runes, you are indeed different from your siblings." Clarence got up and started doing tasks at the counter. A few moments later Father came out the door, "You are wonderful Hendrix but we need-" He looked over at me and changed the subject,"-Flora are you ready to finish up that list?" I looked at the list and notice there's one more item we need to get, Father came over and sat down. Clarence went over to the shop door and changed the sign. Hendrix came over to us with a small crate and smiled as him and Clarence finished up at the counter and went through the door. Father turned to me with a smile, "Connor had a Crow, Millie had an Owl and you? Go ahead and open up the crate." I opened up the little door and the cutest little black furred kitten opened their eyes that was a beautiful orange-gold color. "It's a Bombay kitten!" I picked up the little kitten noticing it was a boy and cuddled him. "What's his name?" I looked at Father and replied, "Shadow."
