Grade-A-Palooza

Chapter 6

What is the Grade-A-Palooza? It is a grading party. The Grade-A-Palooza is a competition hosted by the Professors for the Professor Assistants who put in the time and effort to grade the numerous assignments submitted by students every day. The Professor Assistants who grade the most assignments are rewarded. Professor Serafina Rosenquist, Alchemy and Magical Arts Professor at Hogwarts, is the current host of the competition.

This month, a lot of assignments were submitted, as was evident from the enormous piles stacked up in the classrooms. The library saw a lot of traffic as well, proving that students worked hard throughout the Christmas month. Professor Assistants kept up by grading meticulously at breakneck speed.

The winners of the Grade-A-Palooza this month were the following amazing people: -

  1. The winner's crown was taken by Maya, a 3rd year Ravenclaw witch, for grading a whopping 693 assignments throughout the month. She is a Transfiguration and DADA Professor Assistant at Hogwarts.

  2. The first runner-up was Martha Desurra, a 2nd year Ravenclaw witch and a relatively new contender in the race to grade, with a total of 604 assignments graded throughout the month. She is a Charms, Potions, and Flying Professor Assistant at Hogwarts.

  3. The second runner-up was none other than Hiya Debnath, a 2nd year Gryffindor witch, who graded no less than 419 assignments throughout the month. She is an Astronomy and Charms Professor Assistant at Hogwarts.
