Chapter 1

It had all started on the cold, breezy winter night when our story began. A young boy named Matthew was playing outside with his friends, but then, accidentally, Ben kicked the ball into the dark, creepy and mysterious forest. Matt had been warned many times to never even step a foot in that forest or he’d never see the light of day, again. He ignored them and went in and Matt was shocked at what he came across. It looked like a monster as a statue. “I’ll come back later,” he said to himself. He would come back, for the jewel in the forest...
