Lilia Le Fay and Jamie Pevensie certainly aren’t strangers to the Hogwarts is Here Library, and now these two well-known authors are collaborating on what is sure to be an excellent read!

Set in the Marauders Era, “Insight” tells the story of five friends at Hogwarts; Saoirse Evans, Peggy Glenn, Lena Fairweather, Kate Fields and Claire Dashwood. These five are joined by various other characters - some we know (such as the famous Marauders) and some are new (such as the half-Gypsy Gryffindor, Sisa). Each chapter is told from the perspective of a different character, letting the reader unravel the story through different eyes.

The main five meet on the train to Hogwarts, at the beginning of the book. Saoirse and Peggy are both new to the school in their sixth years, whilst the other three have been at the school for a while. Lena is a sixth year Ravenclaw, Claire a sixth year Slytherin prefect, and Kate a seventh year Slytherin. The journey to Hogwarts is light-hearted, letting the reader get to know the characters before the story begins. It doesn’t take long to notice Kate’s madness and Peggy’s cheerful demeanour, and begin to piece together the characters of the main five.

However, once they arrive at Hogwarts, it becomes clear that things aren’t quite as simple as they seem. Why does Saoirse run away whenever anyone asks her about her personal life? Why does Claire obsessively search through old magazines and books? And what happened the year before between Lena and Kate that made Kate end up quite so crazy? Find out in the coming chapters of Insight.
