You have probably heard of the chamber that he put in Hogwarts. But he wanted Hogwarts to teach only "pure bloods". He was a fan of the color green. He said it soothed the mind and relaxed the body. He also said that red made people go mad and that's why Griffindore wasn't agreeing with him. After a fight with Griffindore he left. It was a time of celebration for Hogwarts because all the fighting stopped, but all slytherins and Godric Griffindore were upset about him leaving.
