Chapter Two

Chapter 2

It's time to wake chip, I can see the sun rise over the horizon and reflect of the river. I go in and shake chip awake, with a small pang of guilt that I woke her from her dream- filled slumber. "chip wake up." I whisper, lighting the small oil lamp that's in our 'room.' chip wakes with a start, "Mmmhh what time is it?" chip grumbles. " Time to get up chipper!" I say using her code/nickname. Everybody calls her chipper, it perfectly describes her. "Sammmy~ i'm hungryy~!" chip complains, petting her stomach like it's a stray kitten. "I know chip, but we still have too... obtain our breakfast first."
