Chapter 1

So, have you packed for your next term at Hogwarts? If not, here's your guide: - Pack the same things as last year, only an additional broomstick of your own that you need to buy from Diagon Alley or elsewhere, and the book, 'Rune Dictionary' by former Hogwarts Professor Venita Wessex (this will be the only textbook you will need for your second year at Hogwarts) bought from the Flourish and Blotts' bookshop if you plan to take up Ancient Runes as an elective. Also, pack a broomstick servicing kit bought from somewhere, possibly even Diagon Alley. For buying your own broomstick, and your broomstick servicing kit, visit either of the shops, Broomstix  or Quality Quidditch Supplies at Diagon Alley. I would personally recommend Quality Quidditch Supplies but it is a matter of preference and I would not want to be unfair to Broomstix. Additionally, you may take with you more than one pets, and other varieties of pets, such as kneazles, pygmy puffs and nifflers, to Hogwarts, in your second year at Hogwarts. To buy such pets except pygmy puffs, you can check out the Magical Menagerie Pet Shop at Diagon Alley or the Eyelops Owl Emporium at Diagon Alley for owls, and to buy pygmy puffs, you can check out Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes at Diagon Alley. Once you've packed, head straight to the 9¾ platform, King's Cross Station, London.

One warning, second year is going to be exhausting and possibly even be a bit discouraging, but I am not trying to be Dobby here.
