You take your time to get up and test your legs.  Once you are stable on them, you climb up your tree to the branch above, where the old Bowtruckle is sitting, waiting for you.  As you edge nearer, you shiver a bit as it is looking at you with its piercing black eyes and you are a bit anxious as to what it will do.  As you are facing it, it motions for you to sit down opposite it.  You slowly sit obediently, but you still aren't completely reassured.  Then quite suddenly he places a long two-fingered hand on your shoulder, and you have no idea why.  Should you jump up in fright and run to a branch on the other side of the tree, or stay there, waiting for his next move?
