Chapter 4
You decide to run off and hide so you get up as quickly as you can but fall back down because you have never used your legs. This time you crawl to the nearest leaf and curl up behind it, hoping that the other Bowtruckle didn't see you, but knowing that it did. Soon its silhouette appears behind your large green leaf and it pops up in front of you, placing a long, two-fingered hand gently but firmly on your shoulder so you won't run off. You are scared but somewhat reassured. Leap up in terror or stay still, waiting for its next move?
Go to chapter 8 if: you jump up and scream in terror.
Go to chapter 9 if: you stay sitting still and wait for the Bowtruckle to do something else.
