Not much is known about Bowtruckles' lives so a lot of this stuff is just what I think of how they live and what they do.  Also, I have chosen to make Bowtruckles without gender so instead of describing them by "he" or "she" I'll write "it."  If you think some of the things that happen in this book don't make sense or aren't plausible then please owl me or post on my profile.  I will try to change it a bit to make it the most realistic as possible and to make sure you and other readers enjoy this book!
