Chapter 3

Maddie whipped around. the last time she could remember being scared was years ago when -when-eh. okay, so maybe she couldn't remember the last time she was scared. But this made her heart skip a beat. For a moment it felt like she was crawling toward gold And then got electrocuted. The person who spoke was tall and kinda old. He had a beaten up Slytherin symbol sticking out of his rob pocket. His hair was matted and slits of silver ran through it. "Io! looks like ya don't have a wand. this'll be easy" "no, no" she replied. Maddie pulled out my wand that was hidden in my sweater pocket. "Expecto Patronum!" "Petrificus Totalus" he said at the same time. he got blasted away and his head went CLUNK on a tree stump. And she just froze. She tried to move, but her muscles couldn't funktion. before Maddie got completely paralyzed, she was able to cast another spell, "Riddikulus!!!" Maddie woke up about an hour later and the man was gone. But thats when she wondered. "what do I think is funny? I used Riddikulus. but what did he turn to?" Maddie turned around and realized the dragons huge head was staring at her with dark eyes. he let out a little huff. "dont worry. I'll get you out of that rope, budy"
